Daniel Pannermayr

Bass

Bavarian Bass Daniel Pannermayr was a member of the Ensemble at the Staatstheater Meiningen from 2017 to 2019, where he performed as Lindorff/Copellius/Dr. Miracle/Dapertutto (Offenbach: Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Angelotti (Puccini: Tosca), Don Alfonso (Mozart: Cosi fan tutte), Truffaldin (Strauss: Ariadne auf Naxos) and most recently Osmin (Mozart: Die Entführung aus dem Serail).

In the 2019/2020 season he returned to the Staatstheater Meiningen as Osmin as well as Jürgen (Jessel: Schwarzwaldmädel) and he permed as Masetto (Mozart: Don Giovanni) at Niederbayerisches Landestheater in Passau. In 2018 he made his debut as King Marke (Wagner: Tristan und Isolde) with the Radio Symphony Orchestra Bucharest under the direction of Julien Salemkour. Prior to his engagement in Meiningen, he was a member of the ensemble at the Theater Bonn from 2015 to 2017, where he performed as Sarastro and Speaker (Mozart: Die Zauberflöte), Masetto (Mozart: Don Giovanni) and Colline (Puccini: La Boheme).

In addition to the large oratorios and various Bach cantatas, his concert repertoire also includes the masses of Haydn, Mozart and Schubert and he has already performed with the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, the Jena Philharmonic, the Dresden Philharmonic, the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, the Meininger Hofkapelle, the Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock and the Staatskapelle Halle.

Daniel Pannermayr was born in 1988 near Passau and studied at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz with Robert Holzer, as well as at Hanns Eisler University of Music in Berlin with Prof. Roman Trekel, where he completed his studies in 2015. He received important impulses in courses with Prof. Thomas Quasthoff, Thomas Hampson, Kurt Widmer, and Wolfram Rieger.
