Mexican Tenor Carlos Osuna is currently a member of the Ensemble of the Wiener Staatsoper, where he already performed roles such as Ismaele (Verdi: Nabucco), Cassio (Verdi: Otello), Pang (Puccini: Turandot), Edmondo (Puccini: Manon Lescaut), Nick and Joe (Puccini: La Fanciulla del West), Jarek Prus (Janaček: Več Markopulos), Narraboth (Strauss: Salome), Beppo (Leoncavallo: I Pagliacci), Incroyable (Giordano: Andrea Chenier), Remendado (Bizet: Carmen) and Sir Bruno Roberton (Bellini: I Puritani). In the past seasons, he performed way over 40 different roles on the stage of this house. In the past seasons he guested at opera houses and concert halls over all of Europe, among them the Semperoper Dresden, where he Performer as Scaramuccio in a premiere production of Richard Strauss‘ Ariadne auf Naxos under the baton of Christian Thielemann, and at the opera houses of Leipzig (Marquis in Lulu) and Heidelberg (Alfredo in La Traviata ). In the Theater Basel, he was member of the OperAvenir studio in the in 2009/2010 season. Further roles in his diverse repertoire are Alfredo (Verdi: La Traviata), Rodolfo (Puccini: La Bohème), Pinkerton (Puccini: Madama Butterlfy), Kudrjas (Janáček: Katja Kabánovà) and Reverend Horace Adams (Britten: Peter Grimes).

He collaborated with artists such as Placido Domingo, Anna Netrebko, Mirella Freni, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Juan Diego Florez and Ramon Vargas. He sung under the baton of conductors such as Simone Young, Marco Armillato, Franz Welser-Möst, Christian Thielemann, Giampaolo Bisanti, Alain Altinoglu und Peter Schneider. He performed in numerous concert halls, among them the Wiener Musikverein, the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Palacio de Bellas Artes Mexico, the Binka Kaikan Tokyo and the Salle des Combin Verbier.
